These are state of the art fine art reproductions of original mixed media on gold leaf and watercolor paintings. They are printed with a revolutionary kind of press that can use real pigments. I had never wanted to do reproductions of my artwork before, because offset and inkjet presses use chemical dye colors, which can only approximate the original’s color and which fade. The detail was not good. But now there is a new fine art press that uses custom inks made with specially ground real artists pigments instead of dyes, allowing perfect and long lasting color for the first time. This special press uses over 2000 inkjets, printing each detail so densely it takes hours to make each print. I’m amazed by the faithfull color and detail now possible. I’m proud to offer this series, printed on acid free watercolor paper in editions of 500.
